A wine and music festival was held in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian province from Nov 17 to 18.

Music, food, fashion and flowing wine were listened to, eaten, worn and drunk at this year's festival which integrates Chinese and western culture.

Cultural experience activities such as rolling oak barrels, blind wine tasting and professional wine knowledge sessions were also held at the festival.

A bevy of bombastic bands from home and abroad entertained with their musical stylings, creating a jovial atmosphere for all in attendance.

Chefs from top local restaurants donned their whites to cook for the festival-goers serving an array of fresh dishes including salmon airlifted all the way from Norway in Scandinavia.

The top tipple at the event was Beaujolias, a famous fruity French wine with a protected designation of origin.

The Beaujolais New Wine Festival, first held in 2012, is the largest and most popular festival of its kind in Xiamen, which not only features its namesake wine but many others from across the globe.
