Dynamic Yunnan to be staged in Xiamen

From December 12th to December 13th, "Dynamic Yunnan", a large-scale song and dance musical created by Chinese choreographer Yang Liping, will be staged in Xiamen Banlam Grand Theater .
To create the impression show, Yang, one of China's best-known dancers, spent 18 months travelling to remote villages of ethnic minority tribes in Yunnan.The performance combines the beauty of Yunnan ethnic minorities dance and songs with the power of modern stage exhibition.
In 2004, "Dynamic Yunnan" won five major awards at the National Lotus Awards, including Gold Award for Dance Spectacular, Best Choreography and Best Female Performer.
