New train route to shorten travelling time to Xi’an to 13 hours

Starting from September 10th, a new nationwide train schedule will be implemented. The new Fuzhou-Xi’an route via the Fu-Xia railway is going to shorten travelling time from Xiamen to Xi’an to 13 hours.
The G1902/3/4/1 Fuzhou-Xi’an route will be the first ever high-speed train travelling between the two cities, reducing the trip’s duration from 24 hours to 10.5 hours.
The high-speed train will travel via Wuyi Mountain, Wuyuan, Huangshan, Tongling, Hefei, Huainan, Bengbu, Xuzhou, Shangqiu, Kaifeng, Zhengzhou and Luoyang.
Additionally, the new G1906/7/8/5 high-speed train from Fuzhou to Zhengzhou is planned to open in the near future.
