Guanren Community International Culture Class: 20th painting lesson

 A Chinese calligraphy and painting lesson was held on the morning of May 5th as part of Guanren Community International Culture Class.

The lesson was taught by Ye Yongquan, who is the Xiamen Artist Association managing director, art instructor and researcher, founder of Xiamen Xuexiao Children's Art Center, member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Education & Research fellow.

Guanren Community International Culture Class aims to offer expats and local residents within the community a curriculum that spans both traditional Chinese culture and foreign cultures, in order to enhance mutual understanding.
 
The curriculum is scheduled to cover 29 hour-long classes, which should enable students to get closer to Chinese culture and gain a better understanding of Chinese philosophy and customs. Students will achieve self-cultivation and an ability to both appreciate and produce their own Chinese calligraphy and painting.

Time: every Thursday 10:30am-11:30am ( for adults)
