Wang Lei: Director of Customer Service Department of Zhongshan Hospital
Born in Wuhu, Anhui province, Wang Lei came to Xiamen for work in 2010 , and became the Director of Customer Service Department at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University (Xiamen Branch) since 2017.
Everyday at 6am, Wang goes to work by bicycle. As a jogging and cycling fan, Wang used to take part in the Xiamen International Marathon for five times.
At 7am, Wang Lei arrives at the hospital and started his daily work dealing with paper works.
At 9am, Wang goes to the Shanghai and Xiamen Inter-referral Center, where he talks to the medical guides about recent updates. Sometimes, Wang would help patients use the self-service machine, deal with the medical card and collect medicines at the outpatient hall.
At 2pm, Wang Lei arrives at the complaint center to communicate with patients. Wang says that the Customer Service Department offers one-stop complaint reception service, adapting PDCA management system.
At 5pm, Wang Lei goes to the ECG room to get to know the development of long-distance projects, and deepen cooperation between enterprises and hospitals.
“Curing diseases is not the only way to help people. I want to help patients with the knowledge I learned, so as to optimize medical service procedure,” said Wang Lei.
