Manila Xiamen International School
Manila Xiamen International School was founded by the Philippines Manila Education Foundation in 1993. Providing full-time basic education, the school includes a kindergarten, an elementary school, and a middle school.
The school was established to provide education for the children of foreigners who invest or work in China, and to teach Chinese language and Chinese culture to the children of overseas Chinese during summer vacations.
The school has passed the assessment of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and is authorized as an IB World School. Its educational concept, materials and teaching methods are in line with IB education. Students are required to take the IB uniform examination and the qualified ones will be granted with IB diploma which is accepted by universities around the world.
The curriculum uses international teaching materials and is integrated with international education. All the courses, apart from Chinese language, are taught in English.
For 20 years after its foundation, hundreds of students from 36 countries and regions have been educated at the school. Each year, dozens of students take the IBO uniform examination and are admitted to universities around the world. Its qualified rate ranks top among the international schools in the world.
