Xiamen City University
Xiamen City University, established in 1952, is a full-time college for higher vocational education. It has been voted one of the most popular higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province by candidates for the college entrance examination.
The University is located in Xiamen, one of China's special economic zones and winner of many honors, such as the title of "International Garden City", the "UN Habitat Award" and so on. Its campus enjoys both mountain and sea views, and is blessed with a beautiful environment and pleasant scenery.
The University covers an area of 516.87 mu (34.45 hectares) and has a total of 521 faculty and staff, including 291 full-time teachers, 15 professors, and 93 associate professors.
At present, the University has 6,035 full-time vocational students, 4,532 open education students, 1,072 adult education students and 171 overseas students from seven countries.
The University has set up a subsidiary college, known as the International Vocational Education College, and has cooperated with universities from America, Canada, Japan and other countries to cultivate professional talent with an international vision and a "craftsman's spirit".
