The main structure of Happy Sweet Potato's Food Intelligent Technology Industrial Park, located in the Haicang Area of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, was officially topped out. The first phase of production is expected to begin by the end of 2025, with full operations scheduled to commence in May 2026.

With a total investment of 330 million yuan ($45.9 million), the project will consist of one research and development building, two factory buildings, and various supporting facilities.

It will become an intelligent food manufacturing park boasting a full tea beverage industry chain R&D and production center, a large-scale data network center, and other facilities, capable of supplying raw materials to over 5,000 stores nationwide. The annual output value is projected to exceed 500 million yuan by 2027.

Happy Sweet Potato originated in Xiamen as a trendy leisure concept centered around sweet potato themes. As a fast-casual chain brand specializing in "freshly-made tea beverages + light snacks", it has grown to become Fujian province's largest local tea drink brand.
