The signing ceremony for the inspection collaboration agreement on Haicang district's edible bird's nest industry and the "Open Lab Day" event of Southeast Edible Bird's Nest Capital were recently held at the Southeast Edible Bird's Nest Capital Industrial Park, an edible bird's nest trading platform within the Xiamen Free Trade Zone.

The event facilitated the signing of laboratory inspection collaboration agreements between the Southeast Edible Bird's Nest Capital and key industry enterprises such as Jingtiao Yan, Dingzi Yan, Fengwei, and Kangjia Yan.

These agreements promote information exchange, resource sharing, and complementary advantages among platform enterprises, providing substantial support to help the edible bird's nest industry overcome its current challenges.

The event also featured theoretical training sessions on common testing items and methodologies for edible bird's nest products, as well as laboratory testing procedures. Notably, Xu Dunming, director of the National Key Laboratory for Edible Bird's Nest and Related Product Testing at the Xiamen Customs Technology Center, was invited to deliver a keynote lecture on critical testing items and standards in the edible bird's nest industry.

The edible bird's nest trading platform is a key industrial platform in the Xiamen FTZ. As of April, the platform had cumulatively imported approximately 118.62 metric tons of raw edible bird's nests with a total value exceeding 700 million yuan ($97.13 million). Additionally, the traceability platform has recorded nearly 100 tons of shipments, valued at approximately 1.57 billion.
