Xiamen's trade with RCEP members exceeds 1 trillion yuan
Over the three years since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement took effect, Xiamen's economic and trade ties with other RCEP member countries have deepened significantly. According to Xiamen Customs, the city's total import and export volume with RCEP members reached 1,001.07 billion yuan from January 2022 to the end of February 2025, including 402.66 billion yuan in exports.
The RCEP's implementation has strengthened trade collaboration between China and member states, delivering tangible benefits to enterprises. During this period, Xiamen Customs issued over 370,000 preferential certificates of origin for goods exported to RCEP members, covering a value exceeding 134.1 billion yuan. These certificates enabled exporters to secure approximately 6.7 billion yuan in tariff concessions in importing countries, with key beneficiary products including machinery, electronics, apparel, footwear, and aluminum goods.
