Xiamen to host 6.15M rail passengers in July and August

The national railway system officially entered its two-month summer transportation period on July 1.

The Xiamen Railway Station is expected to transport 6.15 million passengers during the period.

The volume translates to a daily average of 99,200 passengers, up 2.86 percent year-on-year.

Reservations and train schedules are available through the Railway 12306 website and mobile app as well as the厦门火车站Weibo and WeChat platforms.
