Rail authorities last week announced the launch of the railway e-card service at nine railway stations in Jiangxi and Fujian that are serviced by the Hangzhou-Nanchang and the Longyan-Longchuan high-speed railways.

More than 110 high-speed rail stations in Jiangxi and Fujian now offer the service, which allows passengers on C-, D- and G-designated trains to enter a station by scanning a QR code or by presenting valid identification without the need for a pre-purchased ticket.
