Local Development and Reform Commission officials announced last week that an investment of 27 billion yuan in the first three months of the year in Xiamen's 131 officially-designated key provincial projects.

The investment represents 30.6 percent of the annual investment plan, exceeding scheduled investment by 5.6 percentage points.

Xiamen's 131 key provincial projects have a planned annual investment of 88.3 billion yuan in 2024.
