A trio of visiting cargo ships lined up and put on a light display just off Xiamen's coast in the Songyu Industrial Zone to celebrate the arrival of Spring Festival.

Xiamen Port authorities said that the participating vessels included the Mediterranean Gulson, the Modern Le Havre and the Maersk Emerald.

Xiamen Port remained active throughout the holidays, servicing ships from liners such as Cosco Shipping, Maersk and Yangming Shipping.
