Siming officials announced recently the district's official inaugural list of sanctioned street buskers.

Approved street performers include musicians and street dancers as well as artists specializing in intangible cultural heritage art forms such as sugar painting, palm leaf weaving, embroidery and Hokkien opera.

Approved performance sites include the Lujiang Old Theatre Cultural Park, Shapowei and Zhongshan Road.

A total of 20 buskers are included in the initial batch of sanctioned buskers, who range in age from 25 to 64 years old.
