A concert is scheduled to take place at the Music Hall of the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province on Oct 22, according to the city's Foreign Affairs Office.

Members of the Opera of Nice and Xiamen University Choir will be invited to stage four musical works: Pergoles: Stabat Mater, Vivaldi's Gloria, Jasmine, and Weaves of Gulangyu.

The Opera of Nice consists of eight musicians. Though they come from different countries, they all share the same love for music.

The Xiamen University Choir consists of students from XMU majoring in music education and singing. It performed at the opening ceremony of the 2017 BRICS Summit.

The concert, sponsored by the Foreign Affairs Office of Xiamen and Nice government, is to be held in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations between the two cities and the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.
