The Xiamen Children's Library is actively popularizing science among local children by using cutting-edge technologies, according to reports in local media on Aug 19.

Library officials said children and their parents can access detailed information about various dinosaurs via a big electronic screen at the library.

The library also launched a mobile application and now kids can check out their favorite dinosaurs via the app just by touching their mobile phone screen to get a further understanding of them.

One local resident said that her child is quite fond of dinosaurs and the library's initiative was great for children to acquire scientific knowledge while enjoying themselves at the same time.
