Xiamen ranks second as a Spring Festival holiday destination
Online home-sharing company Airbnb announced recently that Xiamen ranked second place on the list of most popular tourist destinations during the Spring Festival holiday.
Major travel websites such as Ctrip and Lvmama also listed Xiamen as a ten Spring Festival domestic tourist destination.
According to the statistics released by the Xiamen Tourism Development Committee, Xiamen received 2.92 million tourists from home and abroad during the Spring Festival holiday, up by 11.75 percent year-on-year, generating a cumulative revenue of 3.39 billion yuan, up by 16.3 percent. Based on data offered by major domestic agencies, CCTV announced the top ten domestic Spring Festival destinations, ranking Xiamen in fourth place.
