The Yundang Lake Protection Center recently selected three Xiamen residents to serve as volunteer lake chiefs.

The appointees include Chen Yajin, a retired teacher, Fang Xiangming, a senior water conservancy engineer and Zheng Lei, a graduate of Xiamen University's school of environment and ecology.

 
The volunteer trio will assist in protection of the lake.
