Access restricted to new Mountains to Sea Trail during Spring Festival

2020-01-22 13:55

City officials announced recently that the city's new Mountains to Sea Trail has drawn significant foot traffic since opening in the beginning of the year.

More than 1.1 million individuals visited the trail through January 12, receiving an average of 67,900 visitors on weekdays and 134,400 visitors on weekends and holidays.

Trail access will be metered during Spring Festival to regulate visitor flows. Automated gates will be used to restrict access at key locations such as the Buyun and Hemei bridges as well as at Guanhu platform.
