Xiamen recently launched a renewal project for small coastal cleaning vessels. The plans call for 40 replacement craft that are compliant with modern maritime standards.

Construction of the first batch of 10 vessels is nearly finished. They will be delivered to Xiamen this month, with all 40 vessels set to arrive by the end of the year.
