The BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Revolution opened in Xiamen today. The center debuted in Xiamen last September. The center works to coordinate between Chinese and foreign companies, to help build project pipelines and to organize a quartet of online industry matchmaking events.

Forum organizers said that the center has facilitated connections between more than 50 domestic companies and 100 foreign enterprises, resulting in a number of cooperation intentions in smart manufacturing, new energy and other fields.

The center currently works with companies from ten countries including Ethiopia, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa. Forum participants will attend a matchmaking event tomorrow that focuses on cooperation in green energy, advanced materials and other areas.
