CIFIT hosted its first promotion conference of the year for the September convention. The conference drew more than 260 representatives of international organizations, foreign-funded enterprises, financial institutions and China-based embassies in China.

Attendees hailed from roughly 40 countries. Representatives from Finland (this year's guest country of honor) and Guangdong (guest country of honor) delivered investment promotion presentations.
