Siming last month debuted the city's first Food Bank smart cabinet in Wucun as a pilot program.

The cabinet's contents are allocated for free collection by disadvantaged groups within the subdistrict. Eligible residents can make reservations to withdraw food via the“智慧思明”wechat online platform.
