Jiangsu province is the guest of province of honor at the ongoing 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). During the event, it is hosting one major provincial exhibition, two thematic events, and multiple promotional sessions and roadshows, with a strong focus on enterprises, new products, and technological achievements.

The provincial exhibition featured several sections. The provincial profile area highlights Jiangsu's efforts in both attracting investment and supporting overseas expansion, introducing the province's business environment and investment policies as well as its 13 prefecture-level cities.

The key industry area presents the achievements of leading enterprises, industrial parks, and open platforms.

The international cooperation area displays Jiangsu's overseas industrial parks and landmark projects in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.

A multifunctional area was designated for promotional events and business matchmaking.

The UK-China (Jiangsu) Bilateral Investment Cooperation Conference was held on Sept 7 to strengthen exchange with the United Kingdom, the guest country of honor, exploring new opportunities for bilateral trade and investment.

A dialogue held on Sept 8 between international capital and Jiangsu industrial projects focused on attracting global financial investment to support key sectors, aiming to align high-quality projects with foreign capital and further integrate international resources into local industrial chains.

Jiangsu province lies at the intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative. The province is home to the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone, one national-level new district, and 27 national-level economic and technological development zones.

In addition, Jiangsu province continues to enhance new trade momentum. The export value of RCEP-certified goods from Jiangsu ranked top among China in recent years. It also persistently attracts high-end foreign capital. Foreign profit reinvestment in the province shows a counter-cycle growth and has maintained its scale as the largest nationwide for six consecutive years.
