Xiamen will host next month at Phoenix Gymnasium a round of competition for the China Table Tennis Club Super League.  

Local sports officials also announced that the city will host the Asian Athletics Championships in 2027 at Egret Stadium. Earlier this year, Xiamen also hosted both badminton's Sudirman Cup and track and field's Diamond League meet.
