On January 2, Xiamen organized a major project launch event for the new year, marking the start of 77 major projects with a total investment of RMB 77.5 billion. The 77 projects span multiple sectors, including industry, infrastructure, and social services. Among them, 34 industrial projects, with a total investment of RMB 41.9 billion, focus on fields such as new energy, new materials, biomedicine, machinery equipment, and the marine economy.

There are also 20 infrastructure projects, totaling RMB 9.6 billion, covering urban amenities, transportation, and watershed ecological management. Additionally, 23 social service projects, amounting to RMB 26 billion, will focus on areas like education, healthcare, urban village redevelopment, and public services. The main venue for this event was the Wuyuan sports industry complex project, with a total investment of RMB 4 billion and a land area of around 101,000 square meters. This project will not only serve as a cornerstone for Anta Group's brand development but will also build the largest sports park on the island, establishing a new landmark in Xiamen with a global standard and showcasing the city's unique features.
