Xiamen Airlines beauty products boost Xiamen's debut economy
Xiamen Airlines recently launched a new product range in Xiamen, introducing its new "Yunchu" brand in the field of beauty and personal care. Xiamen Airlines has successively extended its business to the coffee, fresh produce, and duty-free sectors, creating multiple brands and leveraging its global flight network to step onto the world stage.
Xiamen Airlines is accelerating the cultivation and exploration of emerging industries such as live streaming, health preservation, cultural creativity, and e-commerce by closely focusing on expanding and strengthening the debut economy.
The launch of the new products is part of Xiamen's wider active development of the debut economy.
Xiamen has been cultivating a fertile ground for the development of the first-flight economy, promoting its emergence as a regional international consumption center city.
In so doing, it has successively introduced multiple policies to encourage global, international high-end well-known commercial brands to settle in Xiamen and launch new products in the city.
In terms of first stores, Xiamen introduced a total of 136 first stores in the first three quarters of 2024.
Regarding first launches, Xiamen's top beauty e-commerce companies such as Power Red conducted first product releases and demonstrations through online live streaming. Driven by new products, Xiamen cosmetics generated a live streaming sales volume worth 4.1 billion yuan ($559 million) from January to November 2024.
First-launch activities at economic and trade brand exhibitions are also vibrant. In 2024, more than 40 enterprises released new products at such exhibitions as the Stone Expo, Travel Expo, and Eyewear Expo.
