New intl express customs supervision center helps Xiamen enterprises go global
The Yuanxiang International Express Customs Supervision Center recently commenced operations, receiving its first batch of air express shipments on Nov 19.
FedEx, an international express delivery corporation, is the first international courier company to establish operations at the Yuanxiang International Express Customs Supervision Center. Additionally, the Yuanxiang Cross-Border E-Commerce Supervision Center has been upgraded to the Yuanxiang International Express and Cross-Border E-Commerce Customs Supervision Center.
The center integrates functions such as express security checks, customs inspections, sorting, and collection. It covers an area of approximately 6,600 square meters and features a fully automated express sorting system with a maximum processing speed of 4,000 items per hour.
This setup can fully meet the needs of international export express shipments and cross-border e-commerce cargo flights. Various types of express shipments can complete one-stop declaration and customs clearance at this center.
The new center has significantly enhanced the logistics capabilities of Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, marking a major milestone for both the airport and express cargo development in Xiamen.
The center also allows international express cargo to be directly stored without the need for secondary customs transfer, enabling nighttime direct handover, customs inspection, and clearance. This allows cargo to be transported worldwide by early the next morning.
