The 2023 China convention and exhibition city industry competitiveness index report and the 2023 list of China's most competitive exhibition cities were recently released at the 2024 China convention and exhibition city industry cooperation conference and convention and exhibition city competitiveness index release conference hosted by the China Convention/Exhibition/Event Society. 

Xiamen ranked 10th in terms of convention and exhibition city competitiveness, rising two places from the previous year.

The top 10 cities are Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Changsha, Qingdao, and Xiamen. Among them, at the level of planned municipalities, Xiamen performed well in comprehensive convention and exhibition service competitiveness, ranking second only to Shenzhen.

The data indicates a widespread recognition of Xiamen's professional capabilities and innovative strength in convention and exhibition organization, services, and marketing. In recent times, convention and exhibition activities in Xiamen have been heating up.

In November, the 37th China Film Golden Rooster Awards and 2024 China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, the 2024 Xiamen International Coffee Fair, and a number of other exhibitions and events will be held in turn.

Multiple exhibition venues will once again become hubs of activity, and the "multiplier effect" of the exhibition economy will accelerate, driving the continuous strengthening of the city's overall exhibition competitiveness.
