Xiamen Elder College officials announced last week that indoor and outdoor decorations for the initial phase of its expansion project is 90 percent complete.

Scheduled to open in autumn, the new campus will be able to accommodate up to 3,000 students.

The college opened 100 in-person courses last year, servicing more than 5,000 students in 130 classes. The school also provided 31 online courses attended by more than 260,000 students.
