Tongan's sunflowers and lotus recently reached peak bloom. Representatives of Tongan's garden bureau noted that the district's sunflower field near Xixi park covers a planting area of roughly 2.5 acres.

Workers seeded the sunflowers in mid-May.

The area is anchored by Wenbi Tower park, which debuted in 2019. The park features a 4,000-square-meter pond that includes 240 square meters of lotus flowers.
