Local representatives of the National Bureau of Statistics announced last week that per capita disposable income for Xiamen residents hit 64,362 yuan last year, up by 10.7 percent year-on-year.

The local growth rate was 1.6 percentage points higher than the national average and 1.4 percentage points higher than the provincial average, ranking first in Fujian.
