The Xiamen municipal bureau of commerce released 11 measures to support companies to resume business on Oct 13.

The measures are designed to boost consumption, to ensure supply for people's livelihood, to optimize the customs clearance environment, and to improve services to companies.

In terms of boosting consumption, measures released by the municipal bureau of commerce are aimed at lowering the application conditions for promotion events under the conditions of implementing COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention measures, increasing the proportion of domestic service insurance subsidies, lowering the application conditions for facilitating consumption, as well as increasing operation subsidies for commercial facilities.

Measures for ensuring supply for people's livelihood include expanding the scope of subsidies for non-staple food supply guarantee funds, as well as raising the subsidy standard for frozen pork reserves in the city.

The municipal bureau of commerce also released measures like appropriating service fees for container inspection in advance to optimize the customs clearance environment.

In addition, the municipal bureau of commerce will provide guidance for vegetable wholesale markets to gradually restore the city's vegetable trading volume. It will also accelerate the implementation of major projects by solving obstacles for key projects to settle, commencing construction, and putting projects into operation as soon as possible.

The municipal bureau of commerce has also released measures for solving difficulties and problems encountered by companies in resuming production and operation, as well as improving government services through approval methods like the "full-process online office" mode under the condition of following COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention measures.
