The city of Xiamen has opened to the public four non-gendered baby care rooms spread across the city.

The rooms are designed for parents and guardians to nurse children.

The program includes plans for a total of 16 rooms to service area families by the end of the year.

The current facilities are located in the Xue Cuo community of Huli, the Maternal and Child Health Care Center of Jimei, the Maternal and Child Health Care center of Tongan and the Community Health Service Center of Xiang Ping Street in Tongan.
