The 2021 China Xiamen International Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry Expo (ICEIE) was held at Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on June 11.

The three-day event attracted more than 600 export-oriented enterprises, 150 service providers and 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms, involving the whole industry chain of cross-border e-commerce.

Covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, the expo set up 10 exhibition areas for more than 300 categories of products, providing a golden opportunity for over 50,000 buyers and suppliers to do business.

Xiamen Ever Trade Import and Export Co Ltd, a company focusing designing, manufacturing and exporting shoes, officially launched its own brand—EVER on the opening day of the event.

“We want to present our products, which are made from recyclable materials, to Xiamen and to the world on such a special occasion,” said Niren Anald, founder and designer of Ever Trade.

In addition to the exhibition, a summit for promoting the cooperation on e-commerce between BRICS members and non-BRICS countries.

According to statistics, Xiamen is now home to more than 5000 cross-border e-commerce enterprises, which is the highest number in Fujian province. In 2020, the import-export volume of cross-border e-commerce retail reached 2.56 billion yuan.
