Local authorities recently announced new streamlined processes to enter public sites governed by covid-19 prevention policies.

The Bamin Health Code of area residents can now be linked with their identity cards, which allows for identity confirmation, health code verification and entry recording with a single swipe of the card.

Xiamen is the first city in Fujian to link identity cards and the local health code app.
