Xiamen in East China's Fujian province is set to host the Xiamen International Optics Fair 2021 at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center from Nov 25 to 27, according to a press conference held in the city on Jan 20.

The fair will consist of 2,500 standard booths in a 50,000-square-meter exhibition area for 800 famous eyewear brands from home and abroad. It is expected to be attended by more than 30,000 visitors.

The event, centering around the development trends of the eyewear industry, will feature a series of activities, including fashion trend releases, a China Eyewear Industry Egret Island Forum, an eyewear designer competition, and a new product launch event.

An online version of the fair will also be held simultaneously, allowing exhibitors to showcase their products and conduct business negotiations online.

The event was sponsored by the Xiamen Optics Association and Xiamen Conference and Exhibition Group Inc and organized by Xiamen Jinhongxin Exhibition Co.
