The National Radio and Television Administration hosted in Chengdu last month its China Internet Audio and Video Conference.

Two videos produced by Xiamen-based entities captured Outstanding Online Audio and Video Works awards at the event. Dear Miss Bird earned an award in the short film category while Silence captured honors in the non-media  category.

The city of Xiamen is home to more than 450 entities with licenses to run production and broadcasting operations, including more than 160 entities that received licenses in the past year. Locally-produced artwork has captured at least 15 national awards since 2018.
