For the upcoming winter-spring season, Xiamen Airlines plans to introduce 15 new domestic and international flights, Xiamen Daily reported on Oct 17.

The winter and spring aviation season will run from Oct 27 to March 28, and the 15 new flights, seven of which are international, will connect the city with "core" areas such as Fuzhou and Quanzhou, as well as to countries and regions along the Belt and Road, such as Mandalay in Myanmar, and Clark in the Philippines.

The new flights will allow Xiamen Airlines to form a complete international air network connecting Xiamen with Southeast Asia, helping China expanding economic and trade ties with the region.
