The 2nd China International Artificial Intelligence Retail Industry Expo opened its door at Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on the morning of May 30th and will continue until June 1st. The three-day event is expected to attract over 30,000 visitors.

With the theme of Technological Application and Cross-border Integration, the expo is showcasing the whole industrial chain of smart retail from software to hardware, including AI-assisted technologies for retail, smart vending machines, and self-service terminals, providing a one-stop service for buyers.

Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the expo set up 500 standard booths for domestic and international new retail giants, including Alibaba Cloud, WeChat Pay, Microsoft, Intel Corporation, Unisound, Sungiven Foods and more.

To explore the smart retail revolution, a main forum and six sub-forums will be held during the exhibition. These forums will cover the hottest topics in the smart retail industry such as shopping mall innovation, global shoes and clothes, block-chain and future business, international fresh food retail innovation, and smart cross-Strait catering retail.

Big names from Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, Huawei, Intel, Microsoft and other companies are expected to share their views on the trends for future retail.

The 2019 International Artificial Intelligence Retail Summit Conference, the main forum of the event, was held on May 30th.

Yan Yanchun, partner of shengjing360.com, one of China’s largest management consulting and private equity investment advisory firms, delivered a keynote speech. He noted that we have moved into the era of new retail 2.0.
