The 2019 Art Amoy is set to take place from June 6th to 9th at Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, showcasing over 10,000 works of contemporary art from 80 galleries from 11 countries and regions.

To mark the fifth anniversary of the art exhibition, the organizing committee curated the 2019 Contemporary Art Fair.

Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the exhibition will set up five areas: international galleries, public art, contemporary art, art and design, and international art exhibition curation.

We hope that the art fair will play a role in promoting the development of contemporary art in Xiamen and also in China, said Luo Wenxuan, a member of the organizing committee.

Works by the renowned Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Korean contemporary artist Choe Kun-son, French-American artist Arman, American artist Alex Katz, and Chinese artists Zhou Chunya, He Duoling, Pang Maokun, Huang Benrui, Shi Chong, Wang Yi, Peng Kanglong and Ma Dan will be exhibited.

Launched in 2015, the Art Amoy (Amoy—the old name of Xiamen) is an annual professional art fair supported by the Chinese Artists Association, China Central Academy of Fine Arts and China National Academy of Painting.
