The Wilten Boys’ Choir from Innsbruck is one of the most renowned boys’ choirs in Europe and has a long-standing tradition. Its history dates back to the 13th century. The group’s performances range from solo, small musicals, classical songs with folk dances, church story melodrama and stage plays, and they also play national instruments with local characteristics, such as the Alps horn, hand (pipe) organ, Austrian zither and Austrian national wooden flute. The most prominent features of the Wilten Boys’ Choir are their superb skill of converting tones as well as their natural performance style.
