Xiamen boys to compete in Vancouver Youth Hockey Friendship Games


On the evening of July 17th, 16 juveniles and 5 coaches from Xiamen Tigers left for Vancouver, Canada to participate in 2017 Xiamen-Vancouver Youth Hockey Friendship Games.This is the first exchange event between Xiamen and Vancouver young hockey lovers.


On July 19th, all the  team members visited British Columbia University which is known as the Pearl of the West Coast. After that, they met the star players of the National Hockey League (NHL) and received their  technical guidance.


While in Vancouver, these kids will be trained in three ice rinks and compete  with local  well-known ice hockey teams.


Xiamen Tigers was founded in 2015. In less than two years, it has built four teams at different age groups of U6, U8, U10, U12.


In the Xiamen stop of 2017 Youth Hockey League (Asian Region)which held in at the beginning of July, the team performed well and won six games in 8 matches of 4 age groups .
