Hakka food festival debuts

The Hakka food festival debuted on July 13 at the Xiamen Huaqiao Hotel. The local branch of the Liancheng Hakka Cuisine Association is hosting the event, which runs through Sunday.
Event sponsors include the commerce bureaus of Longyan and Liancheng County as well as the Liancheng County Hakka Cuisine Association.
Featured foods at the festival include pearl balls and Liancheng white duck.
