Planning of Haicang South Industrial District

　　Haicang South Industrial District locates in the south of Haicang’s Taiwan Investors’ District, south of Cai Jianwei Mountain. In the east, It is connected with the Town of New bay by Lu’ao Road in the east, near Xiamen city area and Zhangzhou city in the west. It connects Haicang Harbor District in the south and Maqing Road in the north. It is 3 kilometers away from Xinyang Industry Zone via Haixin Road. Haicang South Industrial District is roughly divided into three parts: eastern industrial district, northwestern dwelling district, and southwestern towns and storage district.

　　The total land area of the eastern industrial district is approximately 551.1 hectares, where mainly locate major port industrial programs mainly including petrochemical industry , metallurgy industry, and machinery.

　　The planning was completed in March, 1997. The planning was put forward by:Xiamen Branch Institute of China’s Institute of Urban Planning and Design.
