Cooperation and Development Forum on Aotou Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone held in Xiamen

The Cooperation and Development Forum on Aotou Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone was held in Xiamen, Fujian province on Nov 2.

Themed “The World Is My Oyster”, the forum is sponsored by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development, Xiamen Xiang’an District Committee of CPC and Xiamen Xiang’an District People's Government.

Dai Minhan, academician of the Chinese Academy of sciences, was hired as the consultant to the demonstration zone.

 
During the forum, a series of promotional events were held, covering the fields of marine technology, marine culture and tourism, and marine fishery.

Additionally, Aotou inked a total of 9 projects worth about 4 billion yuan during the 2019 World Ocean Week in Xiamen.

Later on the same day, foreign guests of the PNLG were invited to Aotou of Xiang’an district, to experience the local history, cultural heritage and artistic atmosphere.

Aotou, an important part of Xiamen’s marine economic development demonstration zones, is an emerging element for the 2019 World Ocean Week in Xiamen, which runs from Nov 1 to 7 this year.
