Top sailors compete for 14th China Club Challenge Cup in Xiamen
The second phase of the 14th China Club Challenge Cup commenced at Wuyuan Bay in Xiamen from November 1st to 5th.
After four rounds of finals the Beijing Sailing Center Men’s Team won the championship by defeating the Jboat Racing Team from Xiamen by 3 to 1.
The Beijing Sailing Center Men’s Team also won the 2nd China Celebrity Sailing Challenge held on November 5th, to become double champions.
In the second phase of the China Club Challenge Cup, the organizing committee also hosted a sailing cultural exhibition and provided sailing simulators for visitors to experience the fun of sailing for themselves.
The China Club Challenge Cup is one of supporting activities of the 2018 World Ocean Week hosted in Xiamen.
Launched in 2005, the annual event has become one of China’s top four regattas.
