2nd Haicang Free Trade Zone Overseas Shopping Festival concludes

As one of important supporting activities for the 2017 World Ocean Week in Xiamen, the Second Haicang Free Trade Zone Overseas Shopping Festival was held at Haicang TOO Aluohai City Plaza from November 3rd to 6th.

Jointly hosted by Haicang District People's Government , Haicang Bureau of Commerce, Haicang Bureau of Culture, Sports, Broadcasting, Publishing and Tourism , the festival aims at promoting Haicang's  modern and creative image to the world.

According to the organizing committee, a wide range of overseas and quality Chinese products were available during the 4-day event, including marine biological products, baby products, health food, agricultural products, imported snacks, red wines, cubilose , and massaging machines. Visitors were able to experience the products on-site, and purchase at a favourable price.

Apart from that, cutting-edge technologies such as drones, 3D printers, LEGO robots, and laser engraving machines stole the spotlight of the festival.

A music festival themed ‘rhythm of the sea’ was held during the same period.
