Evaluation institutions of higher education Soft Science China recently released an assessment of China's top universities, listing Xiamen University in the 24th place.

Tsinghua University, Peking University and Zhejiang University retained the top three spots among comprehensive universities.

The entity said that its rankings are the result of a multi-dimensional monitoring-based assessment. The rankings assessed schools in ten categories.
